How do I change my internet plan?
Ask us to move you to any other residential tier — there is no contract, so there is no penalty for changing.
You can move up or down between all five residential tiers. Because there is no term contract, changing your plan does not trigger a penalty, a fee, or a new commitment.
The tiers: Base 300 ($30/mo), Core 500 ($60/mo), Gigabit ($80/mo), 2 Gig ($100/mo), and 10 Gig ($300/mo). All symmetrical, all unlimited data.
- Sign in at myaccount.bostonbroadband.com.
- Request the plan you want, or email [email protected] with the tier name.
- We confirm the change and the date it takes effect.
- Router. The optional $10/mo Wi-Fi router is available on Base 300, Core 500, and Gigabit only. 2 Gig and 10 Gig are bring-your-own-router. If you move up to 2 Gig or 10 Gig and you currently rent our router, plan for your own.
- Availability. Plan availability varies by building, so the top tiers are not offered everywhere. We will tell you what your address supports.
Does a change need a technician? Speed changes on our network are usually configuration, not new wiring.
If that didn’t work
Call (617) 693-9434 Mon–Fri 8am–6pm ET and we will tell you exactly what your address supports.
